Axel Adler scholarship 2026 is a tuition fee waiver and is awarded to students studying international Master’s or Bachelor’s Programs at the University of Gothenburg. The selection of scholars is primarily based on the applicant’s qualifications in relation to the chosen study program. Axel Adler Scholarship is funded by Adlerbertska Scholarship Foundation, Adlerbertska Grant Foundation and the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR).

Requirements
To be eligible for Axel Adler Scholarship 2026, you must:
- Be required to pay tuition in Sweden.
- Apply for an international campus-based program at the University of Gothenburg, as your first priority.
- Submit your application for studies by 15 January 2026 and pay the application fee and document your eligibility for studies by 2 February 2026 through www.universityadmissions.se.
Application
Students who have applied to a program at the University of Gothenburg as their first priority through universityadmissions.se and who fulfill the requirements, will receive an email with application instructions around February 10, 2026. The invitation to apply for Axel Adler Scholarship will be sent to the email address you have registered at universityadmissions.se.

CV and Letter of Motivation
When applying for Axel Adler Scholarship you must write a CV and a Letter of Motivation in the application system. No documents can be attached to your scholarship application. The CV and Letter of Motivation are used in the selection process. In your motivational letter, you have the possibility to highlight the merits presented in your CV.
Selection process
Scholarship applications are assessed and ranked by academic staff based on the CV and Letter of motivation included in the scholarship application. Your academic merits can also be taken in consideration.
One scholarship will be awarded for each program, with the exception of programs at the Artistic Faculty, which will be awarded a total of four scholarships for all programs
